The Law of Victory says that Victorious Leaders possess an unwillingness to accept defeat. The alternative to winning is totally unacceptable to them.
There seems to have been a time most recently, (and it may still be happening), that organizations were not declaring winners and losers. I remember my nephew playing soccer and when we got to the game, I asked his dad who was winning. He said, well in this league they do not keep score. I was flabbergasted. How do you play a competitive sport and not keep score?
In this life there are winners and losers. Hopefully most of the time you are a winner. If you are not, then you work hard to get better, then go out and win.
At a recent team building event, a colleague and I practiced hatchet throwing before the competition. Yes, we did it because it was fun, but we wanted to win the competition. While others stood around and drank and talked, we were practicing. Both of us felt the loss when we were knocked out of the competition in the second round. Honestly, it was good to feel the loss, because it just fueled my desire to win!

A good leader is not a loser, but when we do lose (and it does happen) it stirs us up inside and drives us to work harder to win the next time.
With a team we have to work at it. Maxwell tells us we have to :
- Have a Unity of Vision
- Have Diversity of skills
- Have a leader dedicated to winning and raising their players potential
Being victorious, striving for victory, and working to improve to be able to win will help us to reach success.
There is no Plan B.
